NATURAL STONE CLEANER is a high-performance cleaner specially formulated for cleaning external areas of natural stone. It is also suitable for use on most other external hard surfaces. Simply apply and leave for 2 hours, then wash off. It will quickly remove layers of dirt and grime and green algae, lichen and black spots.
Unlike acid-based cleaners, alkaline-based cleaners will not damage or etch the surface of the stone. Apply neat on areas of heavy surface contamination, or dilute 1:1 for less dirty areas.
Natural Stone Cleaner Is A Highly Effective Outdoor Cleaner For Natural Stone. It Will Remove Layers Of Grime, Dirt, Green Algae And Lichen Within 2 - 4 Hours.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Before use, remove any loose debris from the area and ensure adequate safety wear, i.e. gloves, suitable protective eyewear, face mask & clothing.
- Natural Stone Cleaner is to be used neat or diluted 1:1 with clean water - always perform a small test area to determine a suitable dilution rate and dwell time. Carefully transfer the cleaning fluid from the bottle to a pump sprayer or watering can. If these containers are unavailable, cleaning fluid can be used directly from the bucket. Apply generously.
- The cleaning fluid needs to be left on the surface for at least an hour, during that time, the surface must not be allowed to dry out. If necessary, mist with additional cleaning fluid or with clean water to prevent the surface from drying. Work the area(s) of staining with a brush, if necessary, but ensure the surface remains wet at all times.
Leave for at least two hours.
- After at least two hours of dwell time, the treated area should be washed down with clean water first to neutralise the cleaner before then power washing off for perfect results. Please note the cleaning fluid can harm or possibly kill vegetation, so try to avoid washing off onto garden or lawn grass. If this is unavoidable then rinse with plenty of clean water to dilute the cleaner.
- In areas of heavy soiling and extreme, stubborn black/white lichen spots, it may be necessary to extend the dwell time to up to 4 hours or overnight, where necessary, before power washing off. To achieve perfect results on very aged, stubborn black/white lichen spots, test a small area to ascertain the required dwell time necessary to remove the marks - then follow the instructions above. 2-3 applications may be needed.
Please Note: Natural Stone Cleaner contains a chlorine-type agent as an active ingredient and will stain fabrics and sensitive materials. Take special care to avoid contact with fabrics & tarmac during application. The fluid might cause slight lightening of some surfaces - always try the product on-site in an inconspicuous area before use.

P305+351+338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
P321: Specific treatment (see instructions on this label).
P333+313: If skin irritation or rash occurs, get medical advice/attention.
Q: Can we clean Indian Sandstone using this cleaner and wash it with normal hose pipe? or would we need to pressure wash the stone after applying the cleaner?
A: The Natural Stone Cleaner can be applied using a regular sprayer or a watering can. We then recommend rinsing the area off with either a hose or a pressure washer, on a light setting, to ensure all of the solution has been removed from the surface youre cleaning.
Q: In July 2020 I purchased 25L of your Natural Stone Cleaner and it worked very well on my patio for removing black spot. I only used half of the product and have now tried to use the remainder to clean the patio again, but it is ineffective. Does the product have a shelf life, as it does not say anything about this on your website?
A: It should be used within 3-6 months once opened.
Q: will this remove mortar marks?
A: This product will not remove mortar stains.
