SANDSTONE SEALER COLOUR BOOST is a high-performance stone sealer formulated especially for natural sandstone (excluding Kandla Grey) surfaces. Also suitable for other porous natural stone such as limestone and slate.
The powerful, eco-friendly formula of SANDSTONE SEALER COLOUR BOOST offers high-quality stain protection whilst delicately enhancing natural colours & appearance. Can also be applied to internal surfaces.

SANDSTONE SEALER COLOUR BOOST is a high-performance stone sealer formulated especially for natural sandstone surfaces Please note this product is not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid & light grey) sandstone. In addition, it's also suitable for other porous natural stones such as limestone and slate.
The powerful, eco-friendly formula offers high-quality stain protection whilst delicately enhancing natural colours & appearance. Also good to know is that it can be applied to external or internal surfaces.
Sandstone Sealer Colour Boost is a professional-grade sealer for natural sandstone. To sum up, the product is an eco-friendly impregnating sealer, which enhances the natural hues of the stone with deeper, more vibrant colours. Most importantly, it penetrates into the surface of the stone to protect against staining and heavy soiling. Also, the colour boost formula delicately accentuates the stone’s natural hue and colours.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Before use, remove any loose debris from the work surface and ensure adequate safety wear, i.e. gloves, suitable protective eyewear, face mask & clothing.
- Leave the surface for a minimum of 72 hours with clear and dry weather to ensure the surface is completely dry and ready to be sealed; likewise, make sure weather conditions are favourable before commencing! Application temperature range: 15° to 23°C
- Apply the first coat of Sandstone Sealer Colour Boost with a low-pressure sprayer, roller, natural fibre brush or sponge. DO NOT DILUTE. Completely remove any excess sealer from the surface after 20 to 30 minutes.
- Apply a second application approximately 45 to 60 minutes later, repeating the process. Keep the stone surface completely dry through the curing process, which can take up to 72 hours. Any moisture or water left on the surface may result in the sealer drying inconsistently, possibly creating unsightly white patches.
Please Note: Sandstone Sealer Colour Boost will alter the colour/appearance of the stone surface. Always try the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use. Surfaces that are not to be sealed should be protected with masking material.
MAINTENANCE:
To sum up, you can clean sealed areas with a mild, ph neutral cleaner or a very low concentration of our outdoor cleaner range. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents, as this can have a negative effect on the treated surface. SANDSTONE SEALER COLOUR BOOST IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE ON NON-POROUS SURFACES.

P332+313: If skin irritation occurs: Get medical advice.
P337+313: If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice.
Q: Hi! Is this sealer waterproof or water-resistant? I have bought one from you and I have applied it on the stone, but I need to know if it is waterproof. Thank you.
A: The Essential Sandstone Sealer Colour Boost is not fully waterproof, it is water resistant so allows for natural drainage through the stones after sealing.
Q: Should the first coat be dry before second applied?
A: No, the second coat should be applied ‘wet on wet’, that is, when the first coat hasn’t fully cured and is still damp.
Q: Is this suitable for Black Indian sandstone
A: Yes, it suitable for all types of natural stone.

If you need products delivered quicker, for a small additional charge, orders placed before 1 pm can be delivered via NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery to most parts of the UK, although this depends on the courier service under different circumstances.
If you need your delivery before the weekend, then please make sure you place your order using the NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery no later than 1 pm on Wednesday.
We would also like to make you aware that our couriers DO NOT deliver at weekends or on Bank Holidays, so the NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery service is restricted to Monday-Friday only (excluding Bank Holidays).

Just used the sandstone sealer colour boost on a section of patio i have at the bottom of the garden & so far looks to have done exactly as described. £65 isn’t cheap but if it does the job, its well worth it! Used on Multi Grey sandstone which had become very light in colour, perhaps should have used this as they were laid if i had known. Any how its brought it back to a nice natural colour & i’m just about to purchase some more for the larger area.
