Quick-Drying Formula - Forms A Satin/Gloss, Durable Stain-Resistant Coating
SLATE SEALER SATIN FINISH is a high-performance stone sealer formulated especially for natural slate surfaces. It is also suitable for other porous natural stones such as limestone and sandstone (*exceptions apply). It certainly provides a hard-wearing, attractive satin finish that can intensify natural colours and gives a stain-resistant coating. The product may be used on external or internal surfaces.
A protective sealer that creates a durable, crystal clear satin finish, Slate Sealer Satin Finish is quick-drying and easy to apply. Most importantly, its benefits are that it gives high-quality protection that prevents stains and general grime & dirt from penetrating into the surface, above all making it easier to clean and maintain.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Remove any loose debris from the work surface before you start and ensure adequate safety wear, i.e. gloves, suitable protective eyewear, face mask & clothing.
- Leave the surface for a minimum of 72 hours with clear and dry weather to ensure the surface is completely dry and ready to be sealed; in addition, make sure weather conditions are favourable before commencing. Application temperature range: 15° to 23°C.
- Apply Slate Sealer Satin Finish thinly and evenly with either a low-pressure sprayer, micro-fibre mop, paintbrush or soft cloth, taking care not to leave application marks or allow the product to puddle on the surface. Do not dilute!
- Allow between 45 and 60 minutes of drying time before applying the second coat, repeating the same process; apply the product in the opposite direction to help to achieve an even consistent finish. More coats can be applied if necessary to achieve a gloss finish.
Please Note: Slate Sealer Satin Finish may change the colour/appearance of some surfaces - always try the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use. Surfaces that are not to be sealed should be protected with masking material.
*Please note this product is not suitable for Kandla Grey (mid & light grey) sandstone.
MAINTENANCE:
Clean sealed areas with a mild, ph neutral cleaner or a very low concentration of our outdoor cleaner range. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents, as this can have a negative effect on the treated surface. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE ON HIGHLY POLISHED STONE & CERAMIC GLAZED SURFACES.

If you need products delivered quicker, for a small additional charge, orders placed before 1 pm can be delivered via NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery to most parts of the UK, although this depends on the courier service under different circumstances.
If you need your delivery before the weekend, then please make sure you place your order using the NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery no later than 1 pm on Wednesday.
We would also like to make you aware that our couriers DO NOT deliver at weekends or on Bank Holidays, so the NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery service is restricted to Monday-Friday only (excluding Bank Holidays).
Delivery cost for all Sample orders is FREE. Please note that we DO NOT offer the NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery service for SAMPLES. Most of our Samples are sent out via Royal Mail with a service of 2-4 working days for England & Wales. For other regions, please see the charts below.

Applied with a mini roller sparingly, two coats, after pressure washer cleaning the natural slate. Excellent sheen! 5L goes a long way, plenty left over.
