BLACK TARMAC SEALER is formulated with a blend of acrylic resins that restore the original colour, flexibility and weather resistance of the tarmac surface. There is usually no need for expensive asphalt replacement because BLACK TARMAC SEALER recolours the surface and replaces lost resins from the tarmac.
Importantly, it also covers unsightly cement & oil stains or marks and brings the surface back to life. It's the quick and easy solution to renewing your tarmac and is ready to apply straight from the bottle!
The tired, dull & worn appearance of your tarmac drive or paths is transformed, returning them to a good-as-new look with our long-lasting, pigment-based formula. Your tarmac drive or path can be restored so have a go: you will be amazed at the results!
PREPARATION:
Ensure the surface is gently but thoroughly cleaned, and any loose stones are swept off before any application of BLACK TARMAC SEALER. A pre-treatment with green growth remover will be necessary 4 to 5 days prior to applying the sealer if green growths such as algae and green growth are present.
Importantly, make sure weather conditions are favourable before commencing for a smooth and uninterrupted application process!
DIRECTIONS:
- Ensure you have adequate safety wear, i.e. gloves, mask, suitable protective eyewear & clothing before you start work. Application temperature range: 12° to 22°C
- Firstly, make sure the surface is completely clean and allow a minimum of 3 to 4 dry days before sealing. Use a smaller brush or roller to carefully apply Black Tarmac Sealer to the edges or borders and fine lines to achieve a tidy finish. For larger areas, apply generously and evenly using a good-quality floor roller. Do not dilute. Leave to dry for 45 to 60 mins.
- Secondly, repeat the process of applying Black Tarmac Sealer in the opposite direction for even colour distribution. Before driving or parking cars on the surface, please allow 24 hours after the application. Your tarmac will be suitable for light foot traffic after 1-2 hours.
COVERAGE:
Up to 5mē per litre per coat. Up to 25mē per 5L. Do not dilute the product.
Coverage will vary greatly depending on the age, condition, surface porosity and texture of the tarmac.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If rain is forecast for up to 4 hours after application, do not apply Black Tarmac Sealer. Wait for a better time. Always try the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use. Sensitive surfaces which are not to be sealed should be protected with masking material.

P301+330+331: IF SWALLOWED: rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
P302+350: IF ON SKIN: Gently wash with plenty of soap and water.
P305+351+338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
P333+313: If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice.
Q: How do you clean tools after Tarmac Sealer use?
A: Use warm water and detergent when the Black Tarmac Sealer is still wet once dry they will be hard to clean.

If you need products delivered quicker, for a small additional charge, orders placed before 1 pm can be delivered via NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery to most parts of the UK, although this depends on the courier service under different circumstances.
If you need your delivery before the weekend, then please make sure you place your order using the NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery no later than 1 pm on Wednesday.
We would also like to make you aware that our couriers DO NOT deliver at weekends or on Bank Holidays, so the NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery service is restricted to Monday-Friday only (excluding Bank Holidays).
Delivery cost for all Sample orders is FREE. Please note that we DO NOT offer the NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery service for SAMPLES. Most of our Samples are sent out via Royal Mail with a service of 2-4 working days for England & Wales. For other regions, please see the charts below.
