Our RUST REMOVER is effective for dissolving unwanted rust stains. These can be caused by products that contain iron, metal garden furniture, leaking heating systems and so on. Importantly, our easy, ready to use formula is safe and pH neutral, making it suitable for use inside and outside. Further, it will get to work immediately, attacking rust for quick results.
Rust Remover has an easy to apply, gel-based formula that you can pour straight from the bottle. It attacks the rust stains whilst the chemical formula creates a purple coloured reaction so you can see the remover working immediately.
HOW TO APPLY:
- Prepare the area by cleaning off loose debris and ensure you have adequate safety wear, ie gloves, suitable protective eyewear, face mask & clothing.
- Generously apply Rust Remover undiluted to the dry surface and distribute with a brush. For example, purple colouring will show the start of the reaction.
- Allow to work for about 5 minutes with a maximum of 10 minutes. Above all, do not allow Rust Remover to dry.
- Lastly, after working time, rinse off with plenty of water.
Please note: working time must not exceed 10 minutes. You can repeat the procedure in case of unsatisfactory results. Great results can be achieved, however, please note that some stone and coloured concrete may change colour after treatment with Rust Remover.
Please Note: Always try the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use. Always use suitable personal protective equipment (PPE) when using Rust Remover.

P301+P330+P331: IF SWALLOWED: rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.
P303+P361+P353: IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower.
P305+P351+P338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
Q: Would this product remove fertiliser stains and how do you apply this product I have about 50 slabs that have fertiliser stains on it
A: This may help if it is oxidation but is unlikely to remove all of it. I would suggest disguising it by colouring the surface with a product such as Patio ColourSeal from our sister company SmartSeal, please see this link here: https://www.smartseal.co.uk/patio/flagstones/patio-color-seal-5-litre.htm You can use this as a patio cleaner https://www.stonecare4u.co.uk/product/essential-patio-cleaner/ but it will not have any effect on cleaning rust stains. If it is rust it could make it worse because it has a corrosive element.

If you need your delivery before the weekend, then please make sure you place your order using the NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery no later than 1 pm on Wednesday.
We would also like to make you aware that our couriers DO NOT deliver at weekends or on Bank Holidays, so the NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery service is restricted to Monday-Friday only (excluding Bank Holidays).
Delivery cost for all Sample orders is FREE. Please note that we DO NOT offer the NEXT WORKING DAY Delivery service for SAMPLES. Most of our Samples are sent out via Royal Mail with a service of 2-4 working days for England & Wales. For other regions, please see the charts below.

Great product! Really easy to use and quick! I poured a small amount over the rust, brushed it in a bit with a stiff plastic bristle scrubbing brush. Waited the 2-5 mins suggested. It turns purple, then i scrubbed it with the brush again and it rinsed clean off. I used it on block paving and a rust stain on my patio pavers and worked perfectly for both.
